The I.T.I. session begins in August of each year like all I.T.I.s in India. Application for admission to this Institution starts generally from month of April each year. Selection will be made on the basis of academic records of Madhyamik or equivalent Examination. The minimum entry qualification for the admission in Fitter and Electrician Trade is Madhyamik or equivalent examination pass. The Age limit for admission is minimum age 14 years as on 1st July of respective year and there is no upper age limit.

Interested students need to purchase Prospectus & Admission Form by paying charge for the same from the Institute.

The following terms & conditions, formalities are also to be satisfied by the candidates at the time of admission.

  1. Completely filled in and duly signed admission form along with necessary documents as mentioned in the admission form are to be submitted along with required fee to the Institute.

  2. At the time of Admission a candidate has to produce following certificates/documents in original for verification along with a set of photo copy of the same.

    1. 2 nos. Passport size photographs.
    2. Madhyamik or equivalent examination Admit card, Marksheet, Pass Certificate.
    3. Birth certificate
    4. Aadhar Card/ Voter ID card
    5. Caste certificate (if applicable).
    6. Character certificate from last attended Institution/School/College/ from Panchyet Pradhan/MLA
    7. Medical Fitness Certificate
    8. Guardian’s consent letter

  3. Undertaking to maintain all institutional rules & regulations, norms & standards in the prescribed format.

  4. Payment of requisite fees.

N.B.: The Institute authority reserves the right to reject or to not accept any application for admission without assigning any reason.

 

Selection Procedure:

  1. Admission is open to all students belonging to this state and other states of India including Union Territories.
  2. Additional weightage will be given to the candidates possessing higher qualifications.
  3. The candidates selected by the selection committee will be duly intimated to respective candidates.
  4. Allotment of trade can be made according to the choice of the candidate subject to availability of seat in that trade and the recommendations of selection committee.

Reservation of seats has been made as per government guideline for reserve categories, keeping in view the academic standards and numbers of applications received.
